China attaches high importance to Imran’s visit: Spokesperson My Country

BEIJING: A spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Geng Shuang said on Tuesday  that the Chinese side attaches great importance to the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan, hoping it will open new avenues of bilateral cooperation in all sectors of common interest.

He said, “Chinese leaders such as President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang and Chairman Li Zheshu will meet and hold talks with Prime Minister Imran Khan respectively and exchange in-depth views on bilateral relations and issues of common concern.

The relevant departments of the two countries will sign a series of cooperation documents. During the visit, Imran Khan will also attend the closing ceremony of the World Horticultural Exposition.

China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic partners.
